Vaughn Goettler came from a modest background and worked two jobs to put himself through university.
His career began in Management roles before Vaughn became the CEO of Union Energy, now known as Reliance Home Comfort.
Vaughn and his wife Lauren are generous philanthropists and volunteers who have given to local causes including Palliative Care, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum, Rotary, the Upper Canada Heritage Trail and the Wilderness.
Under the Municipal Act, the Mayor is Chief Executive Officer of the Municipality. Vaughn is the only candidate for Lord Mayor who has actually been a CEO and knows what that kind of leadership requires.
He is running because he shares your hopes and concerns, and knows we could do better by listening to residents.
Vaughn has no special interests or hidden agenda.
